Prep & Primer

Let's get started!

 

 

Took everything apart to take stock. Tied the body and fenders up in the garage.

 

All cleaned, scrubbed and sanded. I threw a coat of black primer on the pan.

 

The sound deadening foam is a recycled tire product and the contact cement is water based. Going green!

 

Over the hump I used a sticky back rubber sheet. We're pretty well set under here.

 

I used a light effect on the picture to show the unfinished cuts on all the ports.

 

Ground, sanded and sanded some more. All smooth and even now. Body pan in place. Time to bolt it down
